Updates at Our Websites

Full Gospel Family Publications

Hi friends,

Today, I’m sharing some info from our websites, which I hope will be of use to you:

The Messiah Prophecies Page — I put this together several years ago for my own personal study. I hope you will enjoy it! Use it for Bible study or as an evangelism tool to reach your Jewish friends. Side-by-side OT messianic prophecies and their NT fulfillment in Christ, verses in KJV, with references.

Wonderful Worship Music Playlists at YouTube — Yes, I’m still pushing this, because I know you’ll like it if you try it. I’m constantly adding new things.

Hours of John Paul Jackson teaching on dreams — Lovingly compiled at my YouTube channel.

On to some deals and tips for our U. S. and International customers:

International Customers — Deals & Ordering tips

E-book ordering help for International Customers Yes, you can order our e-books from Amazon if you live in one of a few countries outside the U. S. Apple sells to quite a few more. But neither of them sell to all countries.

But, Smashwords will sell our e-books to you, no matter where you live — and you can choose from Kindle, e-Pub (the version used by Nook, phones, tablets, etc.) or PDFs. Smashwords is a great company to buy from, and I think you will be pleased with how easy they are to work with.

International sales of our print books — I really hate charging our international customers so much for our print books, but the extremely high shipping rates are beyond our control.  The solution in most cases has been to just buy the e-book version from one of the major e-book distributors.

However, a few of our books:
Character Building for Families
River Life: Entering into the Character of Jesus
House of Prayer ~ House of Power

are not available through those e-book distributors.

Now for the good news: If you live outside the U. S. we now sell PDF versions of these three titles directly to you from our website. You will save a LOT of money!  Go to our order page, click the “Canada/Mexico” or “Other International Orders” button, and look for the PDF option you need on the page that comes up.

A Dream Interpretation Exercise — Follow-up (Part 3)

Sleeping Imagem739-1, by REG, via PhotoBucketMany thanks to all of you who took the time to participate in the dream exercise. Whether you commented here at the blog, or sent me an e-mail, I really appreciate all the input, and I hope you had a good time trying your hand at dream interpreting. If you haven’t had a chance to add your input yet, please feel free to still do so. Your thoughts are most welcome!

One lady wrote to ask more into the details, in case I had left anything out. I’m so glad she did. I had missed telling details about the box containing the treasure. (It was silver in color, and it was a small, rectangular box.) I have since added those details and my interpretation of one of them into the first two parts of this exercise.

A few more tips on dream interpretation should be mentioned:

1.)  Dream interpretation comes from the Lord. I have said it before, but it’s important to keep reminding ourselves that dream interpretation is not about following a method and assigning meanings to symbols. We should ask Him to reveal both the overall message and understanding of details to us.

Sometimes you will strongly sense that He is dropping certain elements of dream understanding into your heart. He may even speak quite clearly to you. It is exciting when He does that!

At other times, He doesn’t speak as succinctly. The interpretation comes slowly, over time, and you may start out with, “I think this might mean such-and-such.” When you return to a dream weeks or months later, you may notice that the same idea you had at first about a detail’s meaning still persists. That is a good indicator that it really was from the Lord the first time around.

Sometimes, months down the road, your understanding changes from what it was initially — because life events have now unfolded which make the dream clearer, or because God drops the true interpretation into your heart by revelation at the later date. Either way, He is still directing the adjusted interpretation.

2.)  Make sure that the rest of the dream fits with the meaning you have attributed to a symbol. If the rest of the dream doesn’t fit, or if the meaning you have given to an object contradicts other details showing up in the dream, then you are probably not interpreting that symbol correctly. Some suggestions people volunteered about what various details in my dream could mean were entirely logical, and I could see how they drew those conclusions. However, they didn’t fit with the other details presented. A contradiction showed up.

3.)  Be careful not to go beyond what the dream says. This is particularly important when assisting others in interpreting their dreams. If something isn’t showing up in the dream, don’t imagine it into the dream. With your own dreams, God may continue, over time, to speak additional information to you, which goes beyond the scope of the dream, but until He does so, don’t run ahead of Him in your interpretation.

If you are interpreting someone else’s dream, stick with the details he or she has. Ask questions about the details to draw out information the person may have forgotten to share, but don’t add to what he saw in his dream.

4.)  Details of what was not showing up in a dream can be as important as details of what was showing up. For instance, my dream started out in a basement. But there were no details about the appearance of the basement — no focus on the walls or furnishings. It was all about the action that took place there. That tells me that the condition of the basement itself was not what the dream was about.

5.)  If you are listening to someone else’s dream, don’t insist on your interpretation overriding that of the dreamer’s. Remember that the dreamer might understand the symbols in a different way than you do, because each of us has a unique dream language between us and the Lord. Some symbols are fairly universal to all of us, especially if they are seen clearly throughout the Bible. The meanings of other symbols can vary widely from person to person. So, don’t be surprised if the dreamer interprets his dream somewhat differently than you would. A third-party interpreter is there to assist and enhance the understanding of the dream, not to come up with all the answers for the dreamer.

Thanks again for participating in this dream exercise! Would you like to learn lots more about dream interpretation? Of all the dream interpretation teachers, John Paul Jackson was my favorite. I have put together a playlist for you at my YouTube channel of many hours of John Paul’s teaching on dreams and actual interpretations that he did.

I found that my ability to interpret my own dreams increased by listening in as he did it. I also put together a small dream dictionary for my personal use, based on the dreams he interpreted in those videos. It is my best go-to dream dictionary reference at this time. (I cannot share that dictionary with you, but you could develop one for yourself.)

Growing in the Prophetic Seminar on CD

GrowingPropheticCDMed

Did you miss our Growing in the Prophetic seminar a few weeks ago?  We wish you could have been with us!

But, we have good news!

We recorded it for you, and it is now available as a CD set (also MP3 download).  It’s always more fun in person, but this is the next best thing!

Topics covered:

  1. Yes, You Can Be Prophetic! — Find out why every believer can and should move in the prophetic gifts — and what you can do to increase in living prophetically (or increase in what you already have).
  2. Interpreting Prophetic Revelation — How do we know the difference between literal and symbolic words, dreams, and visions? What do I do with prophetic revelation that I receive? How do I know I’m hearing God accurately — and how do I keep it that way?
  3. Practicing Personal Prophecy — Learn how to easily receive and release words of knowledge and personal prophetic words to bless others.
  4. Misuse / Abuse of Prophecy — There are right and wrong uses of the prophetic gifts. Here we give basic examples of how to avoid the pitfalls, so that you can be a blessing to others.
  5. Unlocking Your Dream Life for Revelation —  A lot of info here. We included our hands-on dream interpretation practice session.
  6. Pastors and Prophetic People: Getting Along — When we understand how the relationship between pastors and intercessors and/or prophetic people is supposed to work, and what our particular functions encompass, good things happen within the church!  Learn how to be a blessing to your pastor — and pastors, learn how you can build a healthy, happy intercessor team that won’t make you want to tear your hair out!
